How do I deal with friends that have smelly breath?

It may sound mean, but most of the people at my school have bad breath. It doesn't matter how prim they are! I don't want to go to every one of them and tell them this, and I don't have enough gum to pass around and politely help. Please tell me a way that I can deal with my friends' their smelly breath without having to avoid them. I've been hanging in there, but if you could give me some tips and tricks you do to manage with this, that would be great! ^_^How do I deal with friends that have smelly breath?
Generally bad breath is due to someone not brushing their tongue. They just don't know to, forget to, or cannot because it makes them gag.





Christmas is coming up. I would see if you could buy everyone with smelly breath a tongue scraper. It makes it a lot easier to clean your tongue well without gagging. Of course, you may want to buy one for EVERYONE on your list to avoid the awkward, ';Well... why did you get a cute pencil set and I got a tongue scraper?';

I am not a rude person, but I generally just tell someone if their breath is kicking. I start with, ';What did you just eat?'; and then, ';Well I think you should check your breath... it seems that meal caused it to be a little kickin'.'; And then, ';Not trying to be mean, I would want someone to tell me.';How do I deal with friends that have smelly breath?
Try tic tacs! Cheaper than gum, yah only need one!

Just tell them nicely that you think their not brushing their teeth well enough.
well i have had the same problem before here is what u do...buy a packe of 5gum the blue flavor because it is the stongest...u put a piece in your mouth in front of them and askk ur other friends if they want one they will only think u are being nice because u dont want to chew in front of them have them chew with u they will never know.
Did you brush your teeth this morning? Take a tic tac, you really need it.
have you tried a little vicks salve . you can smeare it on your top lip or rub a little in you nose. it feels a little cold but it won't hurt you. i use to use it on my stallion when i showed him. he could not smell the mares that were comming into season and that is proff it mask oders. a lot of folks have bad breath no matter what they do to cover it up. it is enbarrassing enough for them . you are right not to say anything to them. hope this helps
