How do you deal with friends that don't call you back or forget about you?

Have you ever wondered why someone you made friends with doesn't try to get in touch with you and seems to be busy or whatever whenever you try to hook up...how do you deal with it? The reason I ask is that I am in a new country (France), the people are real friendly but always seem to be busy or never call you back...what's your experience?How do you deal with friends that don't call you back or forget about you?

I wouldn't take it personal, the whole world is busy.(smile) Just get out and enjoy life. As you go, I'm sure you'll meet more people along the way. Most of them will become dear casual acquaintances. And if you're lucky ( I have a feeling you are ), one will become your life long friend. Enjoy France!
