How to deal with friends who wants to sell you kitchenwares and other stuff thru door-to-door direct selling?

like vitamins, water ionizer dispensers and all that stuff....


what's up with these companies? are their products really better and different than the brand ones readily available in leading stores?

OMG, I had one friend who used to do this. At first I tried to be nice, and went to maybe 3 parties out of 12 I was invited to. And by 12 I mean one a month. I always ended up buying stuff out of guilt and it was always stuff I never needed or wanted. I finally had to tell her the truth. ';Beth, I fell like crap when I get an invitation to a party I don't want to go to. I feel even worse when I do go tryin to help you and I buy stuff I don't want. I value our friendship andif you do too you wlll remove me from your mailing lista';





Ok, our friendhip has gone downhill since then, but it is fne. Actually I am better off.
